SUMMARY:
Once a year, celebrities and other A-listers gather at the invitation of Anna Wintour (Editor-in-Chief of Vogue) at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City to fundraise for the museum’s Costume Institute. In this copy-based campaign, I took it upon famous works featured in various collections within The Met to invite everyday people to Explore The Met whenever they want. The type on each ad is hand-drawn, and the text barely peeking through the background of the speech bubbles are excerpts from Vogue articles about the name-dropped celebrity attending the Met Gala.
